Jay Zimner: The Power of Guests Q&A

Jay Zimner (’03), the founder and principal of Zimner Law, P.C., is a skilled problem solver who represents individuals and businesses in a wide variety of legal matters and proceedings. Jay has particular interest in real estate transactions, contract negotiations, and civil litigation. He has appeared in various courts in New York and Connecticut, and he has been successful in appeals before the Appellate Term and the Appellate Division.

Over the years, Jay’s practice has evolved to meet his clients’ needs, and has diversified due in large part to satisfied client referrals and a growing reputation among his peers as a passionate advocate and a compassionate counselor.

Jay exhibits the highest level of legal professionalism. He seeks to resolve matters by striking a strategic balance between zealous advocacy and crafting cost-and-time-saving settlements.

When he is not busy finding solutions for his clients Jay serves on several boards, is involved in business and community leadership, and acts as a mentor to many. He is the go-to person among his peers to fill business needs, to make introductions, and to help others flourish.

Born and raised in Arizona, Jay earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in New York, Connecticut, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
